As soon as I brought the camera out, Lucas started striking poses. I believe he was mid-Cyber salute at this point, but I defeated his tomfoolery by focusing in on his face. Sadly my ninja skills don't extend to tidying the background first--messy equals fun, though.
I think he looks particularly lush in this shot...

My knee-jerk reaction is, "Poor sod!" Dave's family say that he looks really like Dave when he was little; I've always just thought that he looks like Lucas...
DeleteThat's a lovely photo! My niece is the same with a camera - she starts posing the minute I take mine out!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jane! I think the trick will be to sneak around when he's engrossed in something else. He's been hamming it up for years!
DeleteHe is a gorgeous boy!

Aww, thanks Melody!
DeleteWe just finished watching the last episode of Sherlock S3 and it was fantastic! I wish you good luck in not having the big twists spoiled for you before you can see the series!
What a sweetie! Beautiful picture :) X
ReplyDeleteThank-you so much, Laila!
DeleteWe have cousins who strike a pose the moment a camera is in sight. We love this picture though!

Some folks never grow out of it--I know 50 year olds who strike crazy poses and pull faces whenever they see a camera. Still, it makes for fun pictures :)
DeleteAww such a lovely photograph! <3
